Privacy notice

IT With Mike is run by me, Mike, a sole trader at 27 Peveril Street, Kettering, NN15 5LQ. I'm responsible for any personal details you give me. If you have a question about them, email [email protected] or call 07768 084555.

• Contact form. Your name, email or phone number, and your message, so I can reply to you.
• Job forms (device collection, on-site and remote work). Your name, contact details, address, details of your device and the problem, and your signature. I need these to do the job you've asked for and to have a record of what we agreed.
• Reviews. The name (and company, if you give one), star rating and comment you submit. I only publish a review on this site once I've approved it, and only with the name you chose to show.
• Messages, calls and WhatsApp. If you contact me directly, I keep the conversation so I know what we've discussed about your job.

I never sell your details, use them for marketing lists, or pass them to anyone except the services below that keep the site running.

• Cloudflare hosts this website and stores job forms and reviews.
• Formspree delivers contact form messages to my inbox.
• Resend emails me when a new review or job form comes in.
• Google Fonts supplies the fonts this site uses, which means your browser connects to Google when the page loads.

Each of these only uses your details to provide its service to me. Some of them may process data outside the UK, under the safeguards UK law requires.

This site doesn't use tracking or advertising cookies, and there's no analytics. If you switch between light and dark mode, your browser remembers that choice on your own device. That's all.

I keep contact messages, job forms and review submissions for two years, then delete them. A review I've published stays on the site until you ask me to take it down. Anything I'm legally required to keep for longer, such as invoices for tax purposes, I keep only for as long as the law says.

You can ask me at any time to:

• send you a copy of the details I hold about you
• correct anything that's wrong
• delete your details, or take down your review
• stop using your details for a particular purpose

Just get in touch using the details above. I'll reply within a month, and usually much sooner. If you're unhappy with how I've handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
