What usually happens

Do I have to bring the machine to you?
Not usually. I come to you across Kettering and Northamptonshire. If a job needs longer on the bench, a failing drive say, I can collect it and bring it back.
Will I lose my photos and files?
Not if I can help it. Getting your data off safely is the first thing I do on any repair where the machine is unreliable, before anything else is attempted.
Is it worth repairing or should I just replace it?
Sometimes replacing is genuinely the better answer, and I'll say so. I'd rather tell you that than charge you for a repair that buys six months.
