- Usually, yes. Domains and hosting can almost always be recovered by the person or business that legally owns them, even when nobody has the password any more. It takes some paperwork rather than a clever trick.
- Can you look after a site somebody else built?
- Yes. Most of what I maintain, I didn't build.
- Do you do business email?
- Setting it up, moving it between providers, and fixing it when messages stop arriving, including the domain records behind it that cause most of the trouble.
